I love cemeteries for a different reason than you might think. I was a photographer for many years and cemeteries and the stone structures and all of the Symbolism that goes on with those grave art form is fascinating to me. Not that I’m good at remembering what the symbols all mean but I do love them and love to photograph any cemeteries wherever I am. I have thousands of images from cemeteries around the States. I will be releasing them as cards in the future.  I would love to write a book about some of my favorite cemeteries and the beautiful art work that honors the people buried there.
